Pegasus Pipes & Drums is a pipeband according to Scottish tradition. The band was founded in 2001 in Voorthuizen, the Netherlands (Municipality of Barneveld), with the goal to musically guide the commemorations of historic events from the Second World War in the Barneveld region. Events such as the commemorations regarding Operation Market Garden.

The band has performed at beautiful events during the past few years. Performances such as the yearly performances in Normandy, France, for the commemorations of D-Day, the yearly performances in Ede and Oosterbeek, the Netherlands, during the commemorations for the battle of Arnhem and the yearly performances during the Liberation Parade in Wageningen, the Netherlands.

Apart from these military tinted performances the band also performs at other events. The band is for example a well-known guest in Germany during the Musik Parade. The band also performes during tattoos, Flower Parades, weddings, funerals, anniversaries and it also performed during the Crowning Ball of André Rieu on the Museumplein in Amsterdam.
